Fifth Town Wins Cheese Awards!
Fifth Town has won several cheese awards at the annual Royal Winter Fair Cheese Competition in Toronto, including three first prize ribbons and one Grand Champion title. This is an exceptional result considering that Fifth Town started producing cheese from their new sustainable factory less than 5 months ago. Says Owner Petra Cooper "We are off to a great start as a new enterprise that desires to make a difference to the culinary and economic life of the community, and demonstrate to all those skeptics out there that small scale, local dairying can indeed succeed on all measures in Ontario."
