Lakeview Park Jubilee Pavilion
Oshawa, Ontario
Built in 1927 to mark the diamond Jubilee of Confederation, this roaring 20’s era dance hall has been partially restored to its former glory, including the restoration of its historic dance floor. The long term plans for the pavilion include the complete upgrading of the kitchen facilities, an expansion of the banquet hall and associated services, and the construction of a restaurant and terraces overlooking Lake Ontario. Lapointe Architects has been involved with the project since its rebirth and is currently designing the additions to the facility.
