Lake Simcoe House setting for announcement
Lake Simcoe House was the perfect setting for the launching of the new Lake Simcoe Research vessel, christened Ouentironk, which means 'beautiful water' in Huron. Guests of the cocktail reception where also told of other initiatives to protect and restore Lake Simcoe being undertaken by the Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation (LSCF). The event was attended by federal and provincial dignitaries and politicians including John Tory, MPP. The owners of the Lake Simcoe House, Barry and Rena Tsur, also announced a major donation of $50,000 to the LSCF.
